First World War Centenary Parade DVD goes on sale
A DVD of the First World War centenary parade held in Beer on 3rd August 2014 is now on sale at Beer News in Fore Street. The DVD, priced at £10, includes film of events held last year on the centenary of the day on which Royal Naval Reservists from the village marched off to war.
The DVD runs for 21 minutes, and features film of the parade through Beer, led by the Ottery St. Mary Silver Band, the ceremony at the village war memorial, and the clifftop concert given by the band which concluded the day’s events.
The DVD was directed and filmed by Steven Cheviot and edited and produced by Webheads Media.
